OTC Junior Legion Team Wins Two from Parkers Prairie

The Ottertail Central Junior Legion team swept Parkers Prairie in a baseball double header on Tuesday, posting a 6-5 win in game one and winning by the score of 14-3 in the nightcap.

The first game was tied at 3-3 with OTC batting in the top of the sixth when Soren Floden doubled to drive in the go ahead run.  Chase Thieschafer had delivered a two-run single in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game.

Lane Dilly (7IP, 10H, 5R, 9K, 0BB) hurled a complete game victory for OTC.  Tyson Misegades went 2-for-4 at the plate and Hunter Haugen swiped a pair of bases as OTC had a total of 7 steals in the game.

In game two, OTC scored on a single by Dilly, an error, a double by Owen Buehler and a ground out by Kale Misegades in the first inning.  They put up six more runs in the fourth with Dilly, Buehler, Floden and Gavin Pausch all driving in runs.  Pausch (5IP, 6H, 3R, 1K, 0BB) got the win on the mound.  OTC had 12 hits, led by Floden and Buehler with three hits each.  Jayden Harig stole two bases.
