Breckenridge took 3-of-4 sets from Underwood on Monday night, winning 26-24, 23-25, 25-14, 25-21.

"It was a back and forth kind of night with lots of long rallies," said Head Coach Breck Grove of the Rockets.  "Breckenridge really did a great job of putting the game away at the end when it counted.  We played very well at times, but had many moments where we took breaks and lacked urgency in our play.  I am confident that the next games and practices ahead can be a time for us to grow and move forward, learning to play with that sense of urgency down the stretch."

The Rockets were led by Liz Lukken (14 kills, 14/14 serving, 2 aces, 23 digs, 2 block assists), Kallyn Grove (13 digs, 5 kills, 36 set assists, 18/18 (serving, 1 ace), Alayna Evavold (8 kills, 12/12 serving, 1 ace, 4 block assists) and Becca Johnson (22 digs).

Breckenridge was led by Abby Johnson (19 kills, 20 digs, 1 ace), Addie Twidwell (12 kills, 6 digs, 3 block assists), Mattea Vig (12 kills, 6 digs), Katlyn Kaehler (18 digs, 2 block assists, 3 kills), Parker Yaggie (19 set assists, 6 digs, 2 aces) and Kelsey Ceroll (30 set assists, 11 digs, 1 ace).

The Cowgirls are now 10-2 on the season.  They are at Barnesville on Thursday night for a Heart O’ Lakes Conference match.

Underwood will head to Battle Lake on Tuesday for a Little Eight Conference match and will host Brandon-Evansville in another conference showdown on Thursday.
