The Ashby-Brandon-Evansville boys were led by Logan Froemming who set the school record with a time of 18:00.1, good for seventeenth place. “This was one of his main goals this year and I am so proud that he was able to do that at his last CC meet,” said Coach Bosma. “Kenneth Spielman had a strong run tonight. He found himself in a pack and used them to do the work for him. Logan Haseman ran with a mission tonight. Since this is his first season of CC, tonight was about proving his racing strategy. He started faster than any other meet and was within sight of Logan after the first loop; however, he couldn't keep that pace, even though he still ran a great time. Donell Lee and Darius Grussing have been running great together and tonight was no different. They pushed hard throughout the race and both had strong finishes. Cohen Reiland and Ben Dusing also ran well together. Going into the last 400 meters, they started to race each other and it was awesome to see that team competitiveness being used.  Both teams finished strong and I look forward to what next season brings as all but one are underclassmen and they have a desire to keep improving.”
